Yeast: Type of micro-organisms used in fermenting wines. These micro-organisms produce the enzymes which enables the conversion of sugar into alcohol. This conversion is essential for turning the grape juice into wine.

Yield: It is the amount of wine produced in vineyard or estate. It is usually expressed in hectoliters per hectare.

Young: A term to describe wine that did not go through the usual ageing process. It usually refers to wines marketed within its first year of production.
